Don't bother starting a third team until you have reached level cap. If you want to get campaign early, you will need Rufus who is Grand Arena so that may be worth doing early. Once you get to level 50 you can choose to start building a second team for Grand Arena but this team will just be a bunch of heroes to salvage your tower team into two proper synergy teams. You want to focus primarily on 1 team for tower at all times and no more. When designing a campaign/tower team, synergy isn't very important since you will outlast any damage, it's not a race its a marathon. A tower team needs strong AoE damage, a tank and as many healers as you can throw at it, this team style also works great for campaign but is terrible in PvP. A strong Arena team for F2P by comparison will get you an extra 50 or so arena coins and maybe 20 emeralds. Tower is the main priority, you can get nearly a million gold a day average as soon as you start fully clearing it. Arena, Grand Arena, Guild War, Campaign and Tower being the important ones and each has a different team construction style. Hero Wars has several main modes to focus on, each with different team construction styles.
